PAMPHLET

PREAMBLE

… in order to preserve our American culture:

We rescued desperate refugees and immigrants. The deal was they assimilate, not take over. We’re generous, but have a right to preserve our culture, and will enforce it.

ARTICLE.  VII.

RIGHTS and FREEDOMS

PART. I. RIGHTS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Section. 3. Christian culture will be allowed more cultural tolerance than other religions:

Chanting on loudspeakers at 4 am is not OK, but church bells may ring on Sunday morning. The right to preserve our culture outweighs the right to equality in this case, while freedom of religion remains intact. Rights compete, and in America, Christianity wins, while in Egypt and Istanbul, Islam wins, because it’s their culture.

… religion and prayer will be taught in P-12 schools:

Our schools will teach all religions and spiritual practices, but Christianity will be allotted more time.

… may be practiced and observed in schools, at work and in public, except when interfering with education or commerce or when a bona fide nuisance; but no person may be coerced into religious or spiritual participation or the adoption of any tenet:

Students and Citizens may practice and pray as they see fit, but no one may be forced to. A Muslim may not stop work to pray 4 times per day unless on a break. You can’t rev a loud motorcycle at 4 am just cause it’s your religion.

… our national religious holidays will be continued:

Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and Halloween will be our only religious national holidays.

Section.  4. English must be spoken in all public establishments, businesses, activities and government; and documents and predominant signage must be in English:

Denying employment to Americans because they don’t speak a foreign language is discrimination. So is refusing to do business with English only speakers because you refuse to learn English. English fluency is a condition of Citizenship now unenforced. It will be enforced under The Valentine Constitution which prohibits anyone from discriminating against English only speakers. Immigrants and asylum seekers will no longer be able to refuse to fluently read, write and speak English, or turn away the very people who were kind enough to save them from their horrible fate and share their country with them. “English-only speakers not welcome here” is the implied sign outside or inside any business whose employees cannot or will not speak our mother tongue. We had segregation once and we outlawed it. Neither black nor white Americans take kindly to going culturally backwards just because some ungrateful immigrants and asylum seekers could care less about becoming Americans and are here only for the money and protection from forces they ran from, rather than stood and fought. We’re not into traffic and overcrowding; we’re just nice people. But we’re not suckers. We’re not going to let others replace our culture with theirs!

SPEAK POWER to POWER

Keeping 90% of our current Constitution, foundations and rights intact, The Valentine Constitution modernizes our unaccountable government to assist rather than restrict citizens.

Women, LGBTs, blacks, anti-tax and anti-deficit groups, environmentalists, 80% of America will get what they want most.

Candidates, nonprofits, foundations, protests and fundraisers have failed for decades to fulfill their missions. If they were going to solve our problems, they would have by now. How much longer will you hope that government or Wall Street or scientists solve your problems when they haven’t yet?

Even if your wish list of candidates were elected, what legislation would they pass? They’re too polarized and stalemated, between and within parties, to pass all the legislation needed to solve our many problems, and how long would it take them? It took Valentine 12,000 hours over 45 years! Unless we dictate play, our problems will never be solved.

Left, right and center voters, nonprofits, causes and celebrities can combine their considerable power to get the word out to dictate to candidates to vote FOR RATIFICATION or not be (re)elected.

The hard work’s been done. All you have to do is say you want it to trigger positive polling and they’ll ratify it to get your vote, then we can finally fix everything.
