ARTICLE. VII.

Our RIGHTS and FREEDOMS

PART. I. RIGHTS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Section. 1. Requires background checks for mental instability, drug addiction, violent offenders, no-fly list:

Armed or violent felons, drug addicts, mentally unstable, and those on “no-fly” lists cannot buy or own guns. No guns allowed where mentally unstable people reside.

… prohibits fully automatic and “bump” stocks:

“Bump Stocks”, which enable semi-automatic guns to have “fully automatic” properties, and the fully automatic weapons used by our military, will both be prohibited.

test for marksmanship and safety within 30 days:

Not currently required, new stringent classes, live shooting and tests will ensure safety, accuracy, awareness.

… “carry” permits require live-shooting test under stress:

People who fold under pressure, or get reckless under pressure, or whose training goes out the window under pressure will NOT be allowed to carry guns in public.

… protects the right to bear arms:

The right to bear arms will continue to be protected including the assault rifles, high capacity magazines, and green tip bullets necessary for the adequate defense of democracy, property, (and water and food during upcoming shortages). This foundationally guaranteed check and balance deterrent to criminals, bad cops and military coups is worthless if Citizens are underpowered.

PART. II. PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Section. 2. Relationship class:

Another way The Valentine Constitution addresses bullying and hate crimes is a daily relationship class which will allow K-12 students to share their life stories and find sympathy, advice and programs to solve their personal problems. A modicum of empathy by others would have prevented most spree killings by identifying mentally unstable spree killers and/or alleviating the bitterness before it developed into animosity and violence. Available to adults at night and on weekends, relationship class will defuse animosities and engender happier communities.

+++++

Anti-gun folks should take this deal because 1) it’s the best they’ll get, and why 2) candidates, nonprofits and protests have all failed to pass restrictions, 3) gun rights are foundationally and constitutionally guaranteed, 4) most Americans support this check on government and criminal power, 5) and won’t give up their guns without a civil war. Pro-gun folks stop getting hassled. Anti-gun folks get restrictions like new stringent required classes and tests which magnify gun safety. All the pro-gun and anti-gun lobbying money will instead go into gun safety, awareness, and spree-killer prevention programs like adult relationship classes and others to identify mentally unstable people before they turn to guns or knives or cars or bombs.

SPEAK POWER to POWER

Nonprofits, protests, parties, candidates, Presidents with 2 house majorities, none have solved our persistent problems. Instead, polarized sides concern themselves and us in the petty details of their competing investigations. Valentine puts the solutions we need into written legislation we can demand by reserving our votes for candidates who support ratification.

Women and LGBTs want equal rights and pay. Parents want schools that develop children’s gifts into profitable skills. Un(der)employed adults want similar free after school classes. Workers prefer a $20 minimum wage to welfare. Blacks want a fair policing and court system. Fiscal conservatives want accountable, deficit free government and a single 5% tax. Environmentalists, fishermen, etc want sustainable energy, farming, fishing and forestry practices. Celebrities want an end to the paparazzi; and gun owners would agree to background checks. Our current Constitution fails on these issues. This constitution includes them all, and our foundations and rights.

With inclusive legislation to team up behind, this coalition of left and right voters is powerful enough to dictate the outcome of any election. Add sports, music and movie celebrities, and nonprofits dedicated to these provisions, and this constitution will be easily ratified. Polling will force candidates to vote FOR RATIFICATION or not be (re)elected. Recommend ratification, in person, on social media, post a selfie or selfeo saying “Ratify The Valentine Constitution”, join one of our Facebook groups …
